Hockomock Film Festival

The Hockomock Film Festival

We are proud to announce that the upcoming school year represents the 17th year of the Hockomock Film Festival (HFF).

For those who may be unfamiliar with the festival, we are a competition based film festival that encourages students to be creative, have fun and work collaboratively while creating unique films.

Festival categories include: Drama, Documentary, PSA, Music Videos and Animation. Submissions to the festival are due April 27th and an award ceremony will be held May 11th.

This year marks the first year that the HFF will be exclusive to high school students in the Hockomock league towns.

We encourage high school students and high school media and television teachers to submit projects student projects made both in and out of the classroom. We will have them judged and critiqued by by an independent panel of industry professionals and will provide prizes to the winners.

Hockomock Film Festival founder and organizer Bill Ames has announced that he is retiring from the festival and is handing the reins over to Easton Community Access Television this year. We would like to thank Bill for all his hard work and for the opportunity provided to us. We would also like to thank everyone who has made the Hockomock Film Festival what it is today.
